Head of Micro Loan       (One position available based in Head Office)

Duties and Responsibilities

Continuously develop policies, procedures and methodology for sustainable growth of Micro Business Finance within ABA Bank.
Develop new credit products under Micro Business Finance and implement strategic development plan of new credit products.
Review loan proposals under Micro Business Finance from branches for disbursement and control loan disbursement and settlement process in all branches of ABA Bank.
Arrange regular training regarding Micro Business Finance within the framework of ABA Loan policy and procedure.
Control and supervised the branch loan performances in line with business strategy, policies and procedures.

Skills and Specifications

Degree in Banking/Finance/Economics/Business Administration or equivalent.
Experience in developing credit policies and procedures for MFI or Bank.
Strong risk management skills and advanced knowledge in credit evaluation.
Good understanding of Cambodian MFI or Bank rules.
Good command in English for both writing and speaking.

Conduct thorough evaluation of credit applications in accordance with bank policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of quality credit proposals.
Interview loan customers and make sound credit decision on credit requests.
Conduct site visits to fully understand collateral security and customer’s business.
Effectively manage customer's relationship by providing high quality services to existing & potential customers of the bank.
Work closely with Branch Manager/Credit Manager to assess borrowing customers.

Good understanding of lending policies, procedures and practices.
Proven skills in credit analysis, financial analysis and risk assessment.
Prospecting and strong clientele base .
Demonstrate good level of interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal, in English and Khmer.

Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct sales presentations and identify sales opportunity from both new and existing customers in order to cross-sell and achieve FUM targets of the branch.
Contribute to the development of sound profitable business by creating effective referral networks with clients and internal stakeholders.
Maintain, develop and manage effective customer relationship and retention strategies.
Understand customer’s business needs; provide outstanding, consistent advices and services that will satisfy customer’s needs and establish bank loyalty.
Prepare and properly manage clientele base, including management of sales pipeline report.

Bachelor degree in Business, Finance and Marketing field.
Very good communication and negotiation skills.
Minimum 2 years working experience in sales & marketing.
Organizational and time management skills.
Computer skills in word, excel, internet & e-mail

Competent in spoken and written English.

Deliver effective and efficient banking products and services.
Ensure proper data entries and transactions of products and services provided by customers.
Proper cash handling.
Prepare routine records and reports required by supervisor and/or manager.

Bachelor Degree in banking and finance, accounting, or related fields.
Must have good command in both spoken and written Khmer or English.
Pleasant and friendly personality.
Computer literate i.e. Khmer and English Typing, MS Word, Excel.
Past relevant work experience is an advantage, newly university graduate are encourage to apply.
